We’re moms, founders and entrepreneurs. We firmly believe that with more financial education, we can live in a better world together. We met at our children’s elementary school in 2019.
It quickly became clear that we shared a passion for financial education for kids and young people.
So we rolled up our sleeves and said “let’s do this”! Kristin (see below) has joined the Schulgold team. Together we have heaps of fun with financial education.
This is us:
Karolina is the co-founder and CEO of FinMarie, the first online investment platform for women in Europe. She has more than ten years of experience in the financial sector. She started as a manager at DnB NORD (real estate financing), overseeing more than 20 employees and a financing volume of €250 million per year.

When she realized the problem, she started working on a solution. In August 2017, the mother of three launched Mind the Gap e.V. with a colleague – an initiative for women who want to learn more about managing their finances. The “Women and Wealth” meetup and seminar now takes place nationwide. The “Mind the Gap” community comprises more than 3,000 women and is growing continuously.
Babett is a founder, mom and podcaster. She’s a financial expert and has spent 17 years working with over 10,000 clients across 4 different banks.
She loves getting children and young people interested in finance in a fun way.

As a finance and business coach, Babett helps people take care of their finances and their business with joy and ease.
Her “Goldfrau Podcast – Couples therapy for you and your money” is one of the most successful German financial podcasts.
Kristin has been part of the Schulgold team since July 2023. Her main job is event management, and she makes a real difference with her volunteer work.

Her superpower is organizing really great events. Kristin therefore supports us in organizing the financial festivals.
